The management of the divisions of MK Group of Companies are committed to providing safe and healthy work programs and environment for all employees, clients and subcontractor personnel.

As an organization operating inter-provincially, we make Occupational Health, Safety and Loss Prevention, a primary objective in all our activities.

Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the companies’ overall safety initiatives. The prevention of losses to people, equipment and material, and damage to the environment requires a complete and active participation on the part of all persons, on or off the site.

The divisional management of MK Group of Companies encourages all employees to participate in the program. Each division ensures that it will provide proper equipment, training and safe work practices and procedures. Employees, at all levels, are responsible for following all safe work procedures, working safely, and, wherever possible, participate in improving safety measures.

All employees and subcontractors will be advised of their rights and responsibilities with the companies’ health and safety programs and in addition to client and national policies and regulations. It is the responsibility of line management to enforce the regulations involving the health and safety policies, along with operating guidelines to all employees without exception.

This general policy supplements other organizational health, safety and loss prevention policies specific to client, national or international regulations or procedures.

The information in the policies does not take precedence over applicable government legislation, with which all workers should be familiar.

No area of our business is more important than health, safety and loss prevention.
